Don't speed. Just don't.

i get pulled over; round two? Current mood: sickly Category: sickly Travel and Places
It was wednesday October 10th, a day, like all wednesdays, I must quickly hurry my ass up from school to home to get changed to go to a wonderful place called Friendly's; I slave there.Anyway, I got out of class rather late that day because my art professor was handing back our sketchbooks after being evaluated and it just took a lot of extra time. I ended up leaving school around 4:20PM, almost a half hour later than I usually leave.Nicoles Road was packed and 495 was pretty full too; they're two very busy roads. I couldn't do 80 on my way home.I got to my apartment in Moriches around quarter to 5 and left my house for work right on the clock, 5PM (the time I was already supposed to be at work)...I hopped on Sunrise Highway right quick and my lead foot kicks in; at this point, I'm comfortably only doing about 70-75mph.I continue at the same speed until about hampton bays.Going up a big hill, someone behind me starts to come real close to my bumper; a chevy, regular sedan. I thought to myself, "eh, I'll get over and let them pass." So I did. After the man quickly passed me, he moved over into the very clear right lane, still going a little quicker than me.We approach a hill going down though, after hiking up it, and, unknowingly, my car starts to speed up; I didn't really realize I reached 85.I went with it though.I ended up catching up to the man's car that was once ahead of me going at a faster speed, so, I move into the left lane while casually checking my voicemails on my cell phone. As I pass the chevy on my right, I give a little glance, just because.I'm going pretty fast now, and before I know it, that same sedan that was once behind me, next to me, and in front of me, was at that moment behind me, flashing crazy blue and red lights on the dash and in the grill."Fuck."I couldn't believe it.I pulled over, bearly, on the side of the highway. He still sat in his car behind me so I looked in the rearview mirror, and he motioned, with his thumb and an extremely straight face, for me to move over to the right more. I was freaking.Already late for work, I nervously await to talk to the very strict state trooper, who authoritatively put on his "ranger rick" forest hat after shutting his car door.I hate how they tilt their head down to do so."License and Registration please."...he ended up letting me go, even if I did break two laws.I hate undercover cops/troopers...I'm pretty sure I learned my lesson though.
