It was a usual day at work where I was just tired of being there, it was still getting late but also rather early at the same time...I had a table of 6 (I guess I could say) teenagers, and only 5 of them ordered.
At Friendly's, this is something that usually happens all the time--especially with a table full of kids; they either barely have enough money to pay for their own or no money at all (in which they wouldn't order anything for the second circumstance)...too bad I have to serve them atleast a glass of water; what a waste of my time.
In any case, this table that I had that one day, had all of their food brought out to them already and everything, so I was just nonchalantly walking by them to see if things were okay; I didn't say anything to them, as they looked pretty satisfied and content, but what I did notice is the (I was sure) exact peace sign magnet that I have on my own car outside in the parking lot.
I had to go and check to see if mine was still there.
Ironically, it was actually mine that they had stolen; mine was gone!
Despite the fact that I know these stupid, childish teenagers had their dirty fingers on my car, it was kind of hysterical, but it did make me pissed off at the same time.
What was even more funny was when my manager at the time went over to the table and told them, "did you know that this peace sign is actually from the car of your server tonight??"
They had nothing else to say and I gave them the check as my last move--they weren't getting anything more out of me.
But I did get 9 bucks out of them.
Idiots.
