and here's what I also wrote (in the Owl book) and felt on Christmas:
Hey so it's Christmas day and I woke up around 11am to the sound of my sister receiving text messages and my Dad busy in the kitchen--typical (i think).
My art history exam ended up going really well, as I had a knowledgeable background of both the Romanesque and Gothic Art periods--Medieval studies ended up being pretty sweet.
I can't say the same for my HIS 333 or Especially my CSE 334 class--just didn't happen to be a good time, which is why I'm really looking forward to next semester.
Did I mention it doesn't feel like Christmas?
So yeah....all in all, it just hasn't felt like anything this holiday season, but I was able to spend it with the couple of people who have a place in my heart (which is really all that matters I suppose). I still feel like someone and I are missing out on something--but it's not fully my fault. Maybe I just won't let it enter my mind anymore.
'Nuff's enough I guess.
